1. Data Controller

Real Estate Club Dubai is operated by Real Estate Club Dubai ("the Company", "we", "us"). We are the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through this Platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Information you provide directly:

• Account registration: name, email address, account type, password
• Buyer Access form: name, email, phone number, language preference, property preferences (type, bedrooms, purpose, location, budget, timeline, financing), and additional notes
• Contact & enquiry forms: name, email, phone number, subject, and message
• Newsletter subscription: name and email address
• User-generated content: posts, comments, and profile information

Information collected automatically:

• IP address and approximate geolocation (country level)
• Browser type, device information, and operating system
• Pages visited, time spent, and interaction patterns
• Referral source (UTM parameters) and source URLs
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
• To process your buyer access requests and property enquiries
• To share your enquiry data with our RERA-licensed real estate partners so they can contact you and match you with suitable properties (see Section 4)
• To send you newsletters and market updates you have subscribed to
• To send you notifications about community activity relevant to you
• To analyze usage patterns and improve our services
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share your information with the following categories of recipients:

• Licensed real estate partners: When you submit a Buyer Access form, contact enquiry, or property enquiry, your submitted information (name, contact details, and property preferences) is shared with our RERA/DLD-licensed real estate partner brokerages in Dubai. These partners are bound by their own privacy policies and UAE data protection regulations. They will use your data solely to respond to your enquiry and match you with relevant property opportunities.
• Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting, email delivery (Resend), analytics (Google Analytics), bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), and payment processing (Paddle). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
• AI concierge (Ask RECD): Messages you send to our AI assistant are processed by OpenAI (USA) to generate responses. OpenAI acts as a processor and does not use this data to train its models. We do not include your name or contact details unless you choose to share them.
• Push notifications: If you use our mobile app and enable notifications, your device push token is processed by Expo (Expo Inc., USA) to deliver alerts.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in servers located outside the UAE, including in the United States (e.g., OpenAI, Expo) and the European Economic Area. For such transfers we rely on appropriate safeguards, including our processors' Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent measures, in compliance with the UAE PDPL and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR.

6. Data Retention

• Account data: retained for as long as your account is active, plus 12 months after deletion
• Lead/enquiry data: retained for up to 24 months from submission date
• Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe
• Analytics data: retained for up to 26 months
• Legal compliance data: retained as required by applicable law

7. Your Rights

Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL) and other applicable laws, you have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations
• Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
• Data portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent: Withdraw previously given consent at any time
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the link in our emails

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, the EU/UK GDPR also applies and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Essential cookies: required for the Platform to function (session management, CSRF protection, authentication)
• Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the Platform (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Functional cookies: remember your preferences and settings

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) run in Consent Mode with consent denied by default — no analytics or advertising data is collected until you accept via our cookie banner. 9. Mobile App & Push Notifications

Our mobile app stores your authentication token securely on your device (encrypted by the operating system), caches preferences and saved items locally, and — if you enable notifications — registers a device push token and basic device information (model, OS version) to deliver alerts. This data is cleared when you log out or delete your account. The app uses no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

10. AI Concierge (Ask RECD)

Ask RECD is an AI assistant. Responses are generated by a third-party large language model (OpenAI) and may be inaccurate; they are general information only and not financial, legal or tax advice. Always verify with a licensed professional before acting.

11. Data Breach Notification

If a personal data breach is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the competent authority and affected users without undue delay — and, where the EU/UK GDPR applies, within 72 hours of becoming aware — in line with the UAE PDPL, Türkiye's KVKK and applicable law.

12. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure server infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

13. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
