About This Project

Dubai Creek Tower is set to become the defining landmark of the next decade. Originally designed by world-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava, the tower was announced alongside Dubai Creek Harbour — a 6 sq km master-planned waterfront district developed by Emaar Properties. After a pause during the pandemic, Emaar chairman Mohamed Alabbar confirmed in January 2026 that the project is being revived with a fresh design approach.

While the final height has not been disclosed, Alabbar stated the tower "won't chase height for its own sake" — signaling a shift toward architectural beauty, sustainability, and cultural significance rather than simply surpassing the Burj Khalifa.

A New Icon for Dubai

The original Calatrava design drew inspiration from Islamic minarets, the lily flower, and traditional dhow sails — a poetic fusion of Dubai's maritime heritage and futuristic ambition. The revived tower is expected to retain these cultural references while incorporating cutting-edge sustainable design.

Twice the size of Downtown Dubai, Creek Harbour is designed for 200,000+ residents and features a vibrant marina, the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary as a natural neighbour, planned metro connectivity, and schools, healthcare, retail, and entertainment districts.

Investment Opportunity

While the tower itself is not a residential development, its revival has a massive halo effect on Creek Harbour property values. Off-plan apartments in Creek Harbour have historically delivered 25-35% appreciation from launch to handover.
